The sealing and dustproof design of the 68 series bearings has set a benchmark in the industry, and its diverse sealing options are designed to meet the stringent requirements of various working environments. The series offers a variety of sealing forms, including Z, ZZ, RZ, 2RZ, RS and 2RS, covering multiple protection requirements from basic dustproof to complex waterproof and oilproof.

In the 68 series bearings, Z and ZZ seals are the most common dustproof designs. By installing dust covers on one or both sides of the bearing, these designs effectively block the intrusion of dust and tiny particles. The dust covers are usually made of metal or high-performance plastic materials with excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Among them, the ZZ seal is equipped with dust covers on both sides, which significantly improves the dustproof effect, especially suitable for those applications that have strict requirements for dust intrusion, without considering waterproof or oilproof factors.

RZ and 2RZ seals are more concerned with waterproof and oilproof performance. They use rubber seals to replace traditional dust covers, and the seals form a tight fit with the inner and outer rings of the bearings, effectively building a waterproof barrier. This design allows the 68 series bearings to operate stably in humid, dusty or corrosive environments. In particular, the 2RZ type seals are installed with rubber seals on both sides of the bearing, providing a higher level of protection and ensuring reliability under extreme conditions.

RS and 2RS type seals are comprehensive solutions that combine dustproof and waterproof functions. They usually use a combination of metal dust covers and rubber seals, which can not only effectively prevent dust from invading the inside of the bearing, but also resist erosion by water and oil. This design is particularly suitable for applications that need to meet both dustproof and waterproof requirements, such as food processing equipment, textile machinery and other fields.
